Widening participation is the opening
up of the university to under-represented groups. Here at CCMS we are committed to finding the brightest minds regardless of their background and supporting them in accessing higher education.
Our activities are targeted at state school students, students from less advantaged socio-economic backgrounds, students from low-participation neighbourhoods, mature learners, black and minority ethnic students, disabled students and care leavers.
